Edward Woo

Edward Woo is a Senior Research Analyst for Ascendiant Capital Markets LLC, where he covers several key industry sectors including Internet, digital media, entertainment software and toys. Mr. Woo has over 12 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst, during which time he has been responsible for industry and company analysis, financial modeling, formulating investment recommendations, publishing reports and monitoring performance. He has made media appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg, and has been quoted in publications such as Reuters, MarketWatch and the Los Angeles Times. Prior to Ascendiant Capital Markets LLC, Mr. Woo was an Equity Analyst at Wedbush Securities in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Woo has previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Unisys Corporation and Atlantic Richfield Company. Mr. Woo earned an MBA from Yale School of Management and a B.A. in business economics, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Woo is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute, and is a California licensed Certified Public Accountant. He maintains FINRA Series 7, 16, 66 and 87 securities registrations.
