Eduardo Seda Co-President

EDUARDO SEDA, Co-President, Portfolio Manager and Director of Research.
He co-founded Maguire & Moore Management & Research Company, Inc. and
Maguire & Moore Capital Advisors, Inc. in 1996. Mr. Seda is a member of
the Investment Committee and oversees the firm’s investment research,
and portfolio management efforts. He began his investment career in 1986
working for J.P. Morgan. In 1987, he joined Van Cleef, Jordan and Wood,
Inc. as a Portfolio Analyst. In 1988, he was named the Secretary and
Assistant Treasurer of the Greenfield Mutual Fund, Inc. which is managed
by Van Cleef Jordan and Wood, Inc. From 1988 to 1991, he worked for
Equitable Capital Management Corporation as an Analyst and Assistant
Portfolio Manager focusing on International, Pacific Basin and European
investment portfolios. In 1990, he became a Senior Analyst and Assistant
Portfolio Manager in Equitable Capital’s Partnership and Advisory Group
and was involved in the management and analysis of a $1 billion Limited
Partnership LBO Fund consisting of publicly and privately traded high-
yield debt and equity investments. In 1992, he worked for Columbus
Circle Investors as an Associate and Securities Analyst in the Equity
Research Group. Working with the Chairman, Director of Research and
Senior Portfolio Managers, he was responsible for analyzing several
industry groups and specific companies. He then served as a Senior
Equity Analyst – Emerging Growth/Special Situations at Ladenburg
Thalmann & CO’s Lanyi Research Division from 1993 to 1994. In 1994, he
became the Director of Research. From 1994 to 1996, he was the Associate
Oil Analyst at Prudential Securities working with the #1 ranked
Institutional Investor All-Star Senior Oil Analyst in researching and
analyzing the domestic and international oil industry. Mr. Seda earned a
BBA degree in International Business and Finance from Pace University in
1988 and earned his MBA degree in Finance, Corporate Financial
Reporting, and Strategic Planning from Columbia Business School in 1993.
