Dr. Ronald L. Shape

Dr. Ronald L. Shape has served as Chief Executive Officer of National American University Holdings, Inc., since November 2009, when the company became public. He is also a member of the company’s board of directors. Dr. Shape was appointed Chief Executive Officer of National American University — NAU — in April 2009 and also served as the Chief Fiscal Officer of NAU from 2002 to April 2009. He began his career in higher education with NAU in 1991, working in a number of different positions, including Chief Operating Officer, System Controller, Assistant Director of Financial Aid and student account specialist. Dr. Shape currently serves on the board of directors for Education Consolidation Corp. Dr. Shape has a B.A. from Dakota Wesleyan University, and an MBA and Ed.D. from the University of South Dakota.
