Michael Wick

DR. MICHAEL WICK joined Telik, Inc., in December 1997 and is currently
the company’s Chairman, CEO, and President. Prior to joining Telik, Dr.
Wick was Senior Vice President of Research for CV Therapeutics. He was
Executive Director of oncology/immunology and clinical research at
Lederle Laboratories, a division of American Cyanamid from 1990 until
1995, and directed the Cynamid/Immunex joint oncology research program.
Dr. Wick was an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School from 1981
until 1994 and was Chief of the Melanoma Clinic and Laboratory of
Molecular Dermatological Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute
from 1980 until 1992. He holds a PhD degree in Chemistry from Harvard
University and an MD degree from Harvard Medical School.
