DOUGLAS M. MCKAY has been Chairman, President and CEO of United
Community Financial Corp. since 1998. Mr. McKay held various positions
with The Home Savings and Loan Company from 1971 to 1999 and has been
CEO and Chairman of the Board of The Home Savings and Loan Company since
1999. Mr. McKay received a BA from the University of Virginia; is a
Graduate, School of Savings Institute Management, University of Texas;
Graduate, School for Executive Development, University of Washington;
Graduate, Financial Management Program, Ohio State University; and
Graduate, Institute of Financial Education.
