Douglas A. Carty

DOUGLAS A. CARTY is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer for Atlas Air, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas
Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. He served as Senior vice President
and Chief Financial Officer for Canadian Airlines Corporation and
Canadian Airlines International Ltd. prior to joining Atlas Air
in July 2001. He joined Canadian Airlines in 1990 as Director of
Corporate Finance and assumed successively greater
responsibilities until being named Chief Financial Officer for
that company in 1996. Prior to joining Canadian Airlines in 1990,
Mr. Carty spent nine years in the banking industry with the Bank
of Nova Scotia, Chemical Bank of Canada and the Canadian branch
of Continental Illinois Bank. He holds a Master’s of Business
Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario and
a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from Queen’s University at
Kingston.
