Doug Mewhirter

Doug Mewhirter, CFA, Equity Analyst, joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in 2012, and covers specialty finance companies. His coverage universe includes 10 BDCs, four leasing companies and an alternative asset manager. Before joining SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Mr. Mewhirter served as a Senior Research Associate with RBC Capital Markets and Ferris, Baker Watts covering the P&C insurance industry. His previous affiliations also include working in various product development positions at Capital One Financial Corporation, and he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Mewhirter is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Richmond.
