David R. Parker

David R. Parker, 56, has served as President of Covenant Transportation Group, Inc., since its founding in 1985, and as Chairman of the board and Chief Executive Officer — CEO — since 1994. Mr. Parker was elected to the board of directors of the Truckload Carriers Association in 1994 and also serves on the board of directors of the American Trucking Association. Since March 2012, Mr. Parker has served as a member of the Trade and Transportation Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Mr. Parker has also served as a director of several religious organizations. Mr. Parker was raised in the truckload industry and has been working in this industry that he loves for over 40 years.
