DANIEL THIERIET joined A Novo in 1998 as General Manager, before
becoming the Chairman of the Board of Directors in March 1999. Prior to
that, he was Deputy General Manager of the Microwave Transmission and
Access Business Unit, before taking on the position of Customer Services
Director at TRT Lucent Technologies. From 1991 to 1993, he was Deputy
General Manager in charge of technical and industrial subjects at
Canal+. Mr Thieriet graduated as a Civil Aviation Engineer from ENAC in
1966, after attending the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
