Dan Ference

DAN FERENCE is Chief Operating Officer of NetSymphony Corporation. He is a co-
Founder of QoVox Corporation and has 27 years’ experience in the communications
industry, with expertise in voice and data products, having been associated with
Fujitsu, BNR/Nortel, CIT-Alcatel, ITT/North Electric, and Bell Labs/AT&T. He has
spent 20 years creating and managing R&D programs or centers and was Vice
President of Fujitsu’s Raleigh, North Carolina, R&D center. He started and grew
the center to 120 engineers. Previously, he was Assistant Vice President at Bell
Northern Research/Nortel Networks where he managed more than 700 engineers,
including a 120-engineer offshore team. He received a BS in Electrical
Engineering from Penn State University.
