CLYDE L. RANDALL is a Principal of AIA and co-Manager, with Mr.
Ashcroft, of the Blue Chip Equity Portfolio and Manager of the Equity
Income Portfolio. Prior to March 1995, he was an Equity Analyst and
Portfolio Manager for more than five years at Mercantile Safe Deposit
and Trust Company, Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Randall is a Chartered
Financial Analyst.
