Christopher M. Ruth, CFA & CPA is the Chief Investment Officer at Comerica Asset Management. Mr. Ruth is the Chief Investment Officer of Comerica Asset Management and is responsible for managing investments for a wide range of high-net worth individuals and organizations. He is the chairman of the Comerica Asset Management’s Investment Policy Committee. In 1991, Mr. Ruth joined Comerica and previously worked in the Treasury and Controller Departments. Prior to joining Comerica in 1991, Mr. Ruth worked at Citizens Bank in Flint, Michigan and started his career at Ernst & Young. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. Mr. Ruth is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Ruth is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, a director of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Detroit, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Ruth is also a member of The Children’s Center Investment Committee and is the past chairman of the Warren Senior Housing Commission.John J. Trentacoste is a Portfolio Manager at Comerica Asset Management. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the investment field, including trading and actively managing taxable and tax-exempt securities. Mr. Trentacoste is currently responsible for the active fixed income management and trade execution for large high net worth individuals, endowments and foundations.Prior to joining the investment department, Mr. Trentacoste was Director of Municipal Fixed Income Specialists for Columbia Management, a subsidiary of Bank of America. In that previous role, Mr. Trentacoste was responsible for a group which actively managed portfolios for high net worth clients across the country. Mr. Trentacoste also had responsibility for national and state specific, municipal bond mutual funds. Mr. Trentacoste received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
