Christa Steele

Christa Steele joined Mechanics Bank as President and CEO in October 2013. Prior to that, she spent 11 years at F&M Bancorporation, a successful Northern California community banking enterprise, where she gained experience in every area of banking with the exception of wealth management. Before joining Mechanics Bank, she was an Executive Vice President and Wholesale Banking Manager at F&M. A graduate of California State University, Sacramento, Ms. Steele also graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School, Seattle, Washington, and the California Bankers Association Commercial Lending School.
