Charles Conn

CHARLES CONN, CEO, Ticketmaster Online-City Search. TMCS is the category
leader in local online information, an industry it pioneered with the
launch of one of the first city sites. Mr. Conn co-founded CitySearch in
1995. CitySearch merged with Ticketmaster Online in August of 1998.
Ticketmaster Online is the largest online ticketer for live events,
including music, sports. Theater, and family entertainment. The new
company has set the foundations for providing comprehensive local
information and related transactions across the country. Mr. Conn is a
member of the CEO Forum on Education and Technology, and in 1997 was
named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Southern California Software
Industry Council. Prior to starting CitySearch, Mr. Conn was a partner
with McKinsey & Company, and a leader of its growth strategy group. He
is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Oxford University, and Boston
University.
