Carrie Ferman, Chief Executive Officer at Remark Media, Inc., has held finance, strategy and operations positions within major U.S. media and entertainment companies, such as Time Warner Inc. and the Walt Disney Co., over the span of her career. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Strategy, for NBC Universal’s local media division, where she was responsible for formulating divisional strategic plans, executing on revenue-generating business initiatives and cross-platform content partnerships, as well as implementing operational improvements. She brings to Remark Media a broad range of discipline experience including television, film, publishing, cable distribution, digital and social media. Ms. Ferman holds an MBA from Dartmouth College and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
