C. Robert Bunch

C. ROBERT BUNCH is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Tube
Corporation. Mr. Bunch has been a Director of Maverick since 1991 and
has been active in the oil service industry since 1981, holding senior
management positions with Hughes Tool Company, Tescorp, Inc., a
manufacturer and distributor of oilfield production and exploration
equipment, and Oyo Geospace, Inc., an oilfield seismic equipment
manufacturer. Most recently Mr. Bunch was President and Chief Operating
Officer of Input/Output, Inc., and he has also been active as an
investor and consultant in the oil services industry. He received his
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (1976) and Master of Administration
degree in Accounting (1997) from Rice University, and Juris Doctorate
(Law) from Houston University (1994).
