C. Mark Dewinter

C. MARK DEWINTER is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Woodhead Industries, Inc. Mr. DeWinter joined Woodhead in 1986 as
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In July of 1993,
Woodhead’s Board of Directors appointed Mr. DeWinter President and Chief
Executive Officer. In January, 1997, he was elected Chairman of the
Board. Before joining Woodhead, Mr. DeWinter was vice president,
operations of Clevite Industries, Inc. Additionally, he has held senior
level management positions in both marketing and manufacturing at
General Electric and Gould, Inc. Mr. DeWinter is a graduate of Drake
University.
