Bill W. Wilcock

BILL W. WILCOCK is President and Chief Executive Officer of The York
Group, Inc. York is the second largest manufacturer of caskets in North
American, and the death care industry’s most diverse supplier of death
care products and services. Mr. Wilcock joined York in April 1996 as
President and Chief Operating Officer. He became Chief Executive Officer
in October 1996. Mr. Wilcock has broad-based experience in general
management, operations, sales, planning, corporate development and
finance. Prior to joining York, Mr. Wilcock held executive positions of
increasing responsibility with Allied-Signal, Inc., AO Smith
Corporation, Rockwell International Corporation, and Mattel, Inc. He
holds MBA and Bachelor-Economics degrees from The University of
California, Berkeley. Included in The York Group, Inc.’s product and
service mix are: caskets (wood, metal, cloth covered) for burial and
cremation; bronze memorials; urns; metal vaults; York Merchandising
Systems merchandise display modules and systems, pre-need funding
programs; and funeral home and cemetery architectural and interior
design services.
