Bert Trucksess

BERT TRUCKSESS is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for
SCS Transportation, Inc. He is responsible for corporate strategy
development and management oversight of SCST and its operating
subsidiaries. From 1994 up to the September 30, 2002, spinoff that
created SCST as an independent company, Mr. Trucksess had been a senior
executive with SCST’s former parent, Yellow Corporation. Following 13
years in the energy business with the Sun Company, since 1984, he has
held executive management positions in the trucking industry with
affiliates of Sun Carrier and Preston Corporation. Mr. Trucksess is a
member of the American Trucking Associations’ Board of Directors,
holding the position of Vice President-at-large, and a member of the ATA
Litigation Center Board of Directors. In 1971, Mr. Trucksess received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh
University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with highest honors and Phi Beta
Kappa recognition.
