Barry Martin Olliff

Barry Martin Olliff founded City of London Investment Management Company Limited in 1991 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Olliff has been Chief Executive Officer at City of London Investment Group PLC since April 15, 2013, and also serves as its Chief Investment Officer. He serves as Portfolio Manager of HC Capital Trust — The Emerging Markets Portfolio. His career has spanned many years within the investment trust sector. Mr. Olliff began his career in 1964 at Denny Brothers as a market maker in the sector. In 1987, Mr. Olliff established Olliff & Partners. In 1979, he served at Laing & Cruickshank as a member of their investment trust department. He serves as Director of City of London Investment Group PLC. He served as a Director of Laing & Cruickshank since 1984.
