Barry M. Abramson

BARRY M. ABRAMSON joined Gabelli & Company in May 2002 as a Senior
Analyst following the utilities sector in the Research Department, and
has been covering the utilities sector for 26 years. In addition, he is
a member of the team that manages the Gabelli Utilities Fund. Previously
he was a Senior Analyst and Managing Director in the research
departments at UBS, PaineWebber, Prudential Securities and Merrill
Lynch. He is widely known and highly regarded among institutional
investors that cover the utilities sector for being the creator and
publisher of the annual Electric Utilities Power Book, the industry
bible. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received his BA in
Economics from Yale University. He is a member of the Wall Street
Utility Group.
