Barbara Ryan

BARBARA RYAN, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Securites Inc.,
joined the firm in September 1999 as a Senior Analyst covering
pharmaceuticals, focusing primarily on the majors. She has been
twice recognized by The Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst
Survey and is a two-time member of the Institutional Investor
All-America Team. She has been following the US pharmaceutical
industry since 1982, and spent the first eight years at Bear,
Stearns & Co. She followed that with two years at Prudential
Securities, and joined Alex. Brown in 1992, where she covered the
pharmaceutical and distribution companies. She studied at the
University of Massachusetts, and majored in Finance.
