Anthony J. Deluca

ANTHONY J. DELUCA, Chief Executive Officer and President of The IT
Group, Inc., has been an integral part of the company for more than nine
years. He joined IT in 1990, as Senior Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer and served in that capacity until 1996 when he assumed
his current responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer and President.
Prior to joining IT, Mr. DeLuca had more than 20 years of experience as
a partner in Ernst & Young, a public accounting firm, in their National
Engineering and Construction Industry Group. His extensive experience
with the Securities and Exchange Commission gave him a unique capability
to perform as a Coordinating Partner of several large and complex
international firms in mergers and acquisitions. His expertise includes
an in-depth knowledge of government contracting and experience with
multinational engineering and construction clients. His broad range of
international experience includes the Middle East, North Africa, western
Europe, South America, and the Far East. In addition, he is extensively
involved in community affairs and the engineering and construction
industries.
