ANDY HILL is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Wellington
Hill Financial, Inc., a firm that provides investment management
services to over 80 pension plans, high net worth individuals and
trusts. Nelson’s Investment Manager Database ranks Wellington Hill
Financial 29th of 251 growth stock advisors based on 5-year returns
(top 11%) and 7th of 296 advisors based on three-year returns (top 3%).
The firm’s investment philosophy is to select out of favor or
undiscovered growth stocks and income producing securities. Prior to
founding Wellington Hill Financial, Inc. in 1991, Mr. Hill was a Vice
President and Portfolio Manager with Wasmer & Schoeder, Inc. where he
managed municipal and convertible bond portfolios. Mr. Hill received an
MBA in Investments and Securities from Syracuse University and a BS in
Accounting from Canisius. In addition, he is a Certified public
Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition to
professional activities, Mr. Hill is active within the community.
Presently, he is the Naples Area Chamber of Commerce President’s Club
Co-Chair, the Treasurer of the Naples Council of Planned Giving, and the
Education Chair for the Naples Chapter of the Financial Analyst Society.
In addition, he is on the NASDAQ, Stock Market, Inc. Institutional
advisor committee, which was active in the revision of the trading rules
that reduced the trading costs to the individual investor. Mr. Hill is
married to Dr. Susan Liberski.
