Andrew Hamerling

ANDREW HAMERLING is a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst in the
Technology Group at Banc of America Securities covering the Wireline
Network Services Companies. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities,
Mr. Hamerling was part of the diversified energy research effort at
Salomon Smith Barney. In August 1998 he joined Banc of America
Securities as a Research Associate Analyst covering hybrid
energy/telecommunications companies. In 1999 he was promoted to Research
Analyst and later Vice President, covering the entire emerging
communications services sector. Mr. Hamerling received his BS in Finance
and Marketing from Boston College. Currently he is working toward an MBA
at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
