Andreas G. Rutsch

ANDREAS G. RUTSCH is the CFO of ADVA AG Optical Networking. He became
the fourth member of the company’s Corporate Office Team in September
1999. Mr. Rutsch is directly responsible for accounting, controlling,
planning, investor relations and personnel. He worked in various
corporate finance and analyst positions at Dresdner Bank, in strategic
management consulting at Roland Berger & Partner, and as a Senior
Analyst in corporate finance and investment banking at Dresdner
Kleinwort Benson. Prior to joining ADVA, Mr. Rutsch held the position of
a Vice President in the International Banking Division at Merrill Lynch
International.
