Alexander V. Brand

ALEXANDER V. BRAND is a Senior Vice President Equity Research
with BB&T Capital Markets. He joined the firm in 1997 and covers
the airfreight/logistics/specialty airlines sector. Prior to
joining BB&T, Mr. Brand was the top-ranked stock picker in the
2000 Wall Street Journal Best on the Street Analyst Survey and
also was recognized for his estimate accuracy. He is a graduate
of the E. Claiborne Robins School of Business at the University
of Richmond and earned an MBA degree from Georgia State
University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
