Alex Avery

Alex Avery joined CIBC World Markets, Inc., in 2005, and he leads its North American real estate research team. Mr. Avery covers more than 20 real estate corporations and real estate investment trusts. He was named the number one stock picker in real estate in 2010 by Starmine and the number six stock picker in Canada across all sectors. Previously, Mr. Avery worked at an international investment dealer, where he conducted research on real estate and REITs. He has a B.A. and an MBA from McMaster University.
