Ajit Pai

AJIT PAI is a Vice President in the Research Department at Thomas Weisel
Partners LLC, where he covers the applied technologies sector with a
focus on the test and measurement industry. Previously, Mr. Pai worked
in the Equity Research division of Lazard Frres & Co. LLC, covering the
communication equipment and component industries. Prior to that, he was
a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co., focusing on communications,
financial services, and technology clients. At McKinsey, Mr. Pai
contributed to Broadband! a joint publication with Sanford Bernstein,
and a pioneering collaboration between investment research and strategy
consulting. Mr. Pai received a Master of Business Administration degree
from the Yale School of Management. At Yale University, he served as a
John M. Olin Fellow, conducting research on markets and regulatory
behavior and international telecommunications, and attended the
university as a Tata scholar. Mr. Pai also received a Master of
Architecture degree from the Yale School of Architecture, a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the School of Planning and Architecture, New
Delhi, and has operated an architecture design and build firm.
