Aidan M. Walsh

AIDAN M. WALSH, President and CEO of Elk Point Resources, Inc., is a
Professional Engineer with 24 years of experience in oil and gas
production, operations, facility engineering, corporate development and
crude oil and natural gas marketing. Mr. Walsh obtained a Bachelor of
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University in
Newfoundland in 1977 and a Master of Business Administration degree from
the University of Calgary in 1991. Mr. Walsh commenced his career as a
Field Engineer with Dome Petroleum Limited in 1977 and held various
positions at Dome including Operations Engineer, Project Engineer and
Senior Project Engineer over a six year period. In 1983 Mr. Walsh joined
Total Petroleum Canada Limited as a Senior Project Engineer and held
this position for four years prior to joining Poco Petroleums Ltd. as
Manager of Gas Supply, Crude Oil and Liquids. Mr. Walsh worked as a
Manager in Poco’s marketing department for three years with the last
position held being Manager, Natural Gas Sales, and then joined Summit
Resources Limited in 1990 to head up its oil and gas marketing
activities. Mr. Walsh was employed by Summit for three years, the last
two as Vice President, Marketing, prior to joining Elk Point as
President and Chief Executive Officer in August 1993.
