A. Stewart Hanlon

A. Stewart Hanlon is the President and CEO of Gibson Energy. He joined the company in April 1991 as Controller of Canwest Propane and in his 20-year tenure with Gibson has filled senior roles in finance, business development and operations culminating in his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a position he held from 2007 to April of 2009, when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hanlon was named as a member of the board of directors of Gibson Energy ULC in October 2008 and Gibson Energy Holding ULC in December 2008. Mr. Hanlon holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and accounting from the University of Saskatchewan, is a Chartered Accountant and was admitted to the ICAS (Saskatchewan) in 1989 and ICAA (Alberta) in 1990.
