JOANNE SAWICKI is the Chief Executive of Channel Health Plc. She has
over 20 years experience in media. Having trained as a journalist in
Australia, Ms Sawicki held a number of positions with major television
channels and production companies, between 1979 and 1992 including
Channel Nine Network in Australia (1985-1989) and the BBC (1990-1992).
In 1992 she joined BskyB to head up the news feature department. In
1997, Ms Sawicki was appointed Head of Programme Development and
established the programme development department, running a team of
programme makers responsible for making 'self-funding' programmes,
financed through advertising, sponsorship or programme pre-sales. Profile

floated on the Alternative Investment Market in August 11th, 2000.
