LAURIE BUNTAIN is co-Portfolio Manager/Analyst/Trader for SIFE, Inc. She
has over 19 years of experience in various investment advisory
capacities including financial analysis and research, risk arbitrage,
and domestic international equity trading. Prior to joining SIFE in
November 1995, Ms. Buntain spent seven years at Genesis Merchant Group
Securities/Bitterroot Partners with joint responsibility for all
research and trading relating to risk arbitrage and takeover stock
positions. From 1987-1988, she was Vice President and Portfolio Manager
for Burgess Capital Corporation, Redwood City, California. Ms. Buntain
also served as UK/European Sales Representative for Vickers da Costa
Securities in New York during 1982-1987. She earned a BA from Newcomb
College of Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana and has attended
Dominican University, San Rafael, California in the graduate program of

L. SCOTT EDGAR, President of Edgar Investment Management LLC, has more than 25 years of investment management experience. For nine-plus years, he was Director of Research/Portfolio Manager at SIFE Trust Fund, a mutual fund specializing in financial services investments, where he managed equity assets in excess of $1.3 billion. Before that, he spent more than nine years with Severn Associates, now Santa Barbara Asset Management, and its predecessor firm as Portfolio Manager/Analyst. He also had a stint at Bedell Investment Counseling and Woods Financial & Investment Services. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, Dow Jones News Wire and The Wall Street Transcript.
