David Swank

David Swank, CFA, is Principal and Portfolio Manager/Analyst of Hood River Capital Management LLC. In 2013, Mr. Swank and his two partners founded Hood River Capital Management, which spun out of Roxbury Capital Management, where he managed the Small-Cap Growth product for five years. Prior to Roxbury, Mr. Swank worked for GMT Capital Corporation as the health care sector head of a $4 billion long/short equity hedge fund. He previously worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and began his career as a research associate at Furman Selz and Montgomery Securities. He has a B.S. with distinction from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Dartmouth College’s Amos Tuck School.
