CARL E. JONES, JR. is the President and CEO of Regions Financial
Corporation. He has spent his entire banking career with Regions and its
predecessor organizations. Mr. Jones received his BA from the University
of Alabama and is a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking of
the South at LSU and the Graduate School of Credit and Financial
