IAN MACKINNON is the Chief Executive Officer of ServicePower Technologies Plc. Mr MacKinnon has more than 25 years of experience in the computer and IT industries and is a founder and President of ServicePower. Prior to co-founding ServicePower, Mr MacKinnon held senior sales and marketing positions at ICL/Fujitsu. In his most recent position as General Manager for ICLs Decisonpower Business Unit, he seized the opportunity to lead a management buyout of part of this unit when corporate objectives changed and thus ServicePower was formed. Prior to that Mr MacKinnon helped develop an IT strategy for the European manufacturing operations of the Mars Group, and before that he was an Electrical Engineering Manager for Mars Inc. He holds a masters degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey and graduated with honors in Cybernetics and Instrument Physics from the University of Reading.
