Lisa Ellis is the Senior Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC covering U.S. computer services and IT consulting. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Ms. Ellis spent 12 years at McKinsey & Company, where she was elected a Partner in 2007, and was a leader in the marketing & sales practice in North America for technology & telecom and private equity. During her career at McKinsey & Company, Ms. Ellis advised leading hardware, software, IT services, telecom services and defense communications companies on a range of strategy and marketing and sales topics. She also gained expertise in strategic topics, such as the cloud, mobile applications and third-party distribution. Ms. Ellis earned an MBA with honors from the Darden Graduate School of Business in 2001, an M.S. in materials science and engineering from the University of Virginia in 1999, and a B.S. in physics and mathematics from the College of William & Mary in 1997, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. In 2015, Ms. Ellis was recognized as a “Runner-Up” in Institutional Investor‘s annual analyst poll.
