RONALD L. HAVNER, JR., has been President, Chairman and CEO of PS
Business Parks, Inc., since December 1996. PS Business Parks, Inc. is
one of the largest owners and operators of business parks in the United
States. Prior to joining PS Business Parks, Mr. Havner was Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of Public Storage, Inc. Public
Storage is one of the largest REITs in the United States, with assets
exceeding $5 billion. Mr. Havner became an officer of Public Storage in
1986, prior to which he was in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen &
Co. Mr. Havner received his BA in Economics from UCLA in 1979 and
graduated summa cum laude. He is a member of the AICPA, NAREIT and the
Urban Land Institute. Mr. Havner is also Director of Business Machine
Security, The Mobile Storage Group and Burnham Pacific Properties. Profile
