Shayne M. John is a Principal at Decatur Capital Management Inc., an asset management company in Atlanta with over $800 million in assets under management. Mr. John commenced his career at INNOVA Securities, where he was Director of Research and Investment Strategist. After which, he was the Portfolio Manager for Midcap Growth funds at NCM Capital for a decade. He later became the Co-Portfolio Manager of both the Midcap Fund (MUTF:ARTMX) and Opportunistic Growth Fund (MUTF:ARTGX) at Artisan Partners. Since 2011, he has been the Portfolio Manager of DCM’s Midcap Growth and U.S. Emerging Growth funds, and is on DCM’s Investment Strategy Committee. He holds a BBA from Coe College and a Master of Science in finance from the University of London.
