GEORGE F. HORNER, III. has served as President, CEO and a member of the
Board of directors of Versicos, Inc., since 1996. Prior to joining
Versicor, he was Corporate Vice President of Ligand Pharmaceuticals.
Before that, he served in a number of executive positions during his 17
years at Abbott Labs., including President, Canada; Regional Director,
Latin America; General Manager, Mexico; General Manager, Southern Africa
Region; and Regional Manager, Southeast Asia. Before that, he held
several sales and product management positions at E.R. Squibb Inc. Profile
