EDWARD P. CAMPBELL is President and Chief Executive Officer of Nordson
Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 31
countries and approximately 4,000 employees worldwide. Mr. Campbell
spent 11 years in operating and financial management positions in the
petroleum industry before joining Nordson in 1988 as Vice President of
Corporate Development. He was named Executive Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer in 1994 and was elected President and a member of
Nordson's Board of Directors in 1996. In November 1997, Mr. Campbell
assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, while retaining his
position as President of the company. He is President of the Board of
Trustees of the Lorain County Center for Leadership in Education. He is
also Chairman of The Nordson Corporation Foundation and serves on the
Boards of KeyCorp, OMNOVA Solutions, Inc., WCPN-Cleveland Public Radio,
and Cleveland Tomorrow. In addition, he is a member of the Dean's
Technology Council for the Case Western Reserve University School of
Medicine and will serve as the Chairman of the 54th Intel International
Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held in Cleveland in 2003.
Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, and a Master's degree
in Business Administration from Harvard University, Cambridge,
