D. SCOTT SINGDAHLSEN is currently President, Chief Executive Officer and
Chairman of the Board of PYR Energy Corporation, an oil and gas company
he founded in late 1996. Mr. Singdahlsen started his career at UNOCAL as
an Exploration Geologist working in Midland, Texas. He then joined
Chevron USA's Rocky Mountain Region working as a Development Geologist
with projects emphasizing 3-D Seismic Reservoir Characterization and
Geostatistical Analysis. In 1992, Mr. Singdahlsen took the
entrepreneurial path when he co-founded a 3-D seismic management and
interpretational consulting firm in Denver, where he served in various
management roles as well as in corporate development. Mr. Singdahlsen
holds a BA degree in Geology from Hamilton College and an MS degree in
Structural Biology from Montana State University. He has also completed
courses toward a PhD at the Colorado School of Mines. Profile
