MICHAEL D. COHEN is a Financial Analyst with Alpha Analytics Investment
Group, LLC and a Co-Manager of the Alpha Analytics Digital Future Fund.
He specializes in researching and analyzing the rapidly evolving
information technology industry, and he is responsible for reviewing and
selecting stocks for the Fund. Prior to joining the firm in October of
1999, Mr. Cohen was an individual investor in information technology
companies. He earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance in 1997 and
a BA in Economics (cum laude) in 1988 from California State University,
Northridge. He also has passed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
and Certified Financial Management (CFM) exams developed by the
Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Mr. Cohen is a member of the
IMA and sits on their national-level Committee on Information
Technology. He is also a member of SPIE ' the International Society for

JOHN M. GIPSON is a Vice President of Alpha Analytics Investment Group,
LLC and a Co-Manager of the Alpha Analytics Digital Future Fund. Dr.
Gipson started working for Alpha Analytics in 1997 on a part-time basis,
and began full-time employment in January 1999. In addition to being Co-
Manager of the Digital Future Fund, Dr. Gipson is responsible for
quantitative analysis at Alpha Analytics. Prior to joining the firm, he
worked as a Scientist for NBI, Inc. at the NASA Goddard Spaceflight
Center. Dr. Gipson received a BS in Physics from Yale College in 1977,
and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Yale University in 1982. Profile
