NASSIB CHAMOUN is President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the
Board of Directors. Mr. Chamoun, Founder of Aspect Medical Systems,
Inc., is the inventor of the core technology patents assigned to Aspect
Medical Systems. He authored a number of publications in the areas of
biomedical signal processing, image processing and cardiovascular
physiology. Mr. Chamoun was a teaching and visiting Fellow in
Cardiovascular Physiology at Harvard University from 1984 to 1987. His
graduate work was funded by a grant from the Lown Cardiovascular
Research Foundation. Mr. Chamoun earned a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and received a
Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University. Profile
J. NEAL ARMSTRONG is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Aspect Medical Systems. Mr. Armstrong, who joined Aspect Medical Systems
in 1996, was most recently Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial
Officer of Haemonetics Corp., where he also served as a member of the
Board of Directors. Prior to joining Haemonetics, Mr. Armstrong spent
five years at BTU International as Vice President of Finance and
Administration, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer, and 14 years
with Texas Instruments, Inc., where he held senior operating and
financial positions. Mr. Armstrong holds a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration from the University of Texas and is a Certified Public
