DAVID BEADLE is a Director of Pharmaceutical Research at UBS Warburg
LLC. He received his BSc in Biochemistry and a BSc in Medical
Microbiology. Mr. Beadle joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1991,
working for Schwarz Pharma as Hospital Sales Manager in the UK, with
responsibility for cardiovascular products. He left to join Schering AG
in 1993 as Marketing Manager for the UK cancer business, and went on to
lead the European Therapeutic Group for Oncology, which was responsible
for clinical development, regulatory issues and business strategy. At
the start of 1997, after pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical
industry, he joined ABN AMRO as a Pan-European Pharmaceutical Analyst.
In June 1999 he moved with two colleagues to UBS Warburg as part of the
European Pharmaceutical Research Team. In the most recent Extel survey,
