WILLI DOERFLINGER is Chairman of the Board of Directors and spokesman of
the AT&S Group. He holds approximately 20% of the company's shares and
is thus one of AT&S AG's three leading shareholders. After graduating
from the Technical College for Metallurgical Engineering in Leoben, Mr
Doerflinger commenced his professional career in the province of Lower
Austria. In 1978, he transferred to EUMIG at Fohnsdorf, where he
gradually recapitalised the company. Mr Doerflinger also successfully
reorganised the company Steirische Elektronik in Fehring as well as the
printed circuit plant in Hinterberg. At the St. Gallen Management Centre
he completed a generalist training. In 1994, Mr Doerflinger and two of
his colleagues purchased the AT&S Group by means of a management buyout.
Since 1998, Mr Doerflinger is Chairman of the Board of Directors and
spokesman of the entire AT&S Group. Mr Doerflinger, born in 1950, is
