William Huddleston

WILLIAM HUDDLESTON has been employed by the Staar Surgical Company since
1990, serving as Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1999, when he was
promoted to COO. In addition to COO, he is currently acting as interim
President and CEO. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Huddleston was
employed in various management positions with International Paper
Company, International Pharmaceutical Products, Inc., and American Can
Company. Mr. Huddleston was appointed as a Director of the company in
late 1999.
