Steven R. Geist

STEVEN R. GEIST is a Vice President for First Pacific Advisors, Inc. He
manages Source Capital, Inc., a closed-end mutual fund, FPA Perennial
Fund, Inc., and FPA Paramount Fund, Inc., open-end mutual funds; as well
as separate accounts in the small/mid-capitalization quality style. Mr.
Geist joined FPA in 1992 after working as a Research Associate at Joel
Mogy Investment Counsel and was previously an Engineer for TRW. He
earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (magna cum laude)
from New York University, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
from Purdue University and an MBA from University of California, Los
Angeles. Mr. Geist is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
