Steven G. Rogers

STEVEN G. ROGERS is President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkway
Properties, Inc. He leads team building, senior officer management,
capital allocation, investor relations and policy setting for the
company. Long before joining Parkway, he had established his leadership
abilities and commitment to excellence. In 1976, he graduated magna cum
laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi
and went on to complete five years in the U.S. Army. Upon completing his
military service, he attended Harvard Graduate School of Business
Administration, earning his MBA with honors in 1983. The year after
graduation, Mr. Rogers worked as Parkway’s asset manager, supervising
the sale of income producing properties having an asset value in excess
of $30 million. In 1984 he joined Joseph C. Canizaro Interests, a
developer and operator of high quality urban office assets, as Vice
President and Project Manager. He returned to Parkway in 1988.
