Steven A. Abney

STEVEN A. ABNEY is Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting
Officer for Koger Equity, Inc. In his current position, Mr. Abney leads
and directs the company’s accounting, financial reporting, tax
compliance, budgeting and forecasting, information technology and risk
management functions. Prior to joining Koger, Mr. Abney was Executive
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Konover & Associates,
Inc., a leading privately owned commercial real estate developer, owner
and manager located in Farmington, Connecticut. Mr. Abney has held
senior financial positions with other privately and publicly owned real
estate companies, most notably including Security Capital Group and
Lincoln Property Company. Mr. Abney began his career in public
accounting as an auditor, tax accountant and financial consultant. Mr.
Abney is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton,
Florida.
